Refund window
The period during which a subscription can be cancelled for a full or partial refund.
Why it matters
It is the only real trial. A limited free demo does not tell you whether the product works on your line, with your devices, in your country.
What most explanations leave out
Windows in this market range from three days to forty-five, and the conditions vary more than the number suggests: some are prorated against usage, some are void past a data cap, and some exclude payment methods. A long window with conditions can be worth less than a short unconditional one.
